Core Usage Units
LeadForge operates using three primary usage units:
Each subscription plan includes recurring allowances for these resources.
These limits are enforced at the workspace level.
- Discoveries
- Lead Unlocks
- LeadForge Copilot Messages
Discoveries
A discovery occurs when the platform retrieves and presents a new business result during the territory discovery process.
Discoveries represent newly surfaced businesses that were not previously loaded within the workspace’s territories.
A discovery may occur when:
Discoveries are counted only when new businesses are returned by the discovery engine.
Previously discovered businesses within the same workspace do not count again as discoveries.
- a new territory search retrieves businesses
- additional businesses are fetched within a session
- the platform loads new results not previously discovered in that workspace
Lead Unlocks
An unlock occurs when a user requests full access to a discovered business record.
Unlocking a lead may provide:
Unlock credits are only consumed after a successful unlock.
If an unlock attempt fails due to a system issue or external data failure, the credit is not deducted or is restored.
Once a lead is unlocked within a workspace, it remains permanently available in the Vault and does not require another unlock.
- full business details
- contact information where available
- website links
- deeper lead intelligence and scoring insights
- outreach preparation tools
LeadForge Copilot Messages
The LeadForge Copilot allows users to interact with the platform for strategy, insights, and operational guidance.
Each message exchange with the Copilot counts toward the monthly message allowance.
Message limits exist to maintain fair usage and manage system compute resources.
Responses may use different models depending on request complexity.
Monthly Usage Reset
Subscription plans operate on a recurring billing cycle.
At the beginning of each billing cycle:
Unused capacity does not roll over unless explicitly specified.
- discovery limits reset
- unlock limits reset
- Copilot message limits reset
Usage Packs
LeadForge may offer optional usage packs that expand available capacity.
Usage packs may increase:
Usage packs provide additional temporary capacity and do not permanently modify a subscription plan.
Usage packs may expire after a defined period.
- discovery limits
- unlock limits
- Copilot message capacity
Pack Consumption Priority
When a workspace has both subscription capacity and active usage packs, usage is applied according to platform-defined billing rules.
Depending on configuration, pack capacity may be consumed before or after base subscription capacity.
Workspace-Level Limits
Usage limits apply at the workspace level, not the individual user level.
This means:
Workspace administrators are responsible for monitoring usage.
- team members share discovery capacity
- team members share unlock limits
- team members share Copilot message usage
Fair Usage Protection
LeadForge monitors usage patterns to maintain platform stability and fairness.
The system may restrict activity that attempts to bypass limits or exploit usage mechanics.
Examples include:
Accounts may be temporarily restricted if abnormal activity is detected.
- automated scraping behavior
- attempts to bypass discovery limits
- abnormal Copilot usage patterns
System Accuracy
LeadForge makes reasonable efforts to ensure accurate tracking of:
If users believe usage was incorrectly counted, they may contact support for review.
- discoveries
- unlocks
- Copilot message usage
Policy Updates
LeadForge may update this policy as the platform evolves.
Changes may occur when:
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated policies.
- new features are introduced
- usage models are updated
- billing systems evolve
